BLINN NAMES NEW EXECUTIVE DEAN

  

Blinn College has named Dr. John Turner, its new Executive Dean for the Brenham Campus.

Blinn officials say Turner is a veteran administrator with 26 years of management experience, including 14 in higher education,

As Executive Dean, Turner will provide administrative direction and coordination for the Brenham Campus, and will lead the campus’s recruitment and community engagement.

Turner says he is, “honored and excited to serve in this role for the Brenham campus of Blinn College.”

Turner said he’s “a true believer in the community college mission of providing access and superior service to students, while continuing to build an educated citizenry.”

Turner comes to Blinn from Louisiana Delta Community College in Monroe, La., where he was Provost and Vice Chancellor of Academic and Student Affairs.
