After missing out on the playoffs in 2016 and ’17, the Cubettes (27-15) were 9-5 in District 19/5A play this year, comfortably qualifying for the post-season.

The Cubettes will battle district 20/5A Champs, Kingwood Park (33-11/16-0), at 6:30 at Cypress Park.

The Panthers return to the post-season after advancing to the Region Championship last year, before falling to State Runner-up, Leander Rouse.
