BRENHAM CHILDREN’S CHORUS TO VISIT TENNESSEE WEDNESDAY

Members of Brenham’s musically talented youth will soon travel to some of the most iconic music tourism destinations in the United States.

Tomorrow (Wednesday), the Brenham Children’s Chorus tour choir will board a bus and head to Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee.

Performing contemporary, familiar, and classic rock-and-roll selections, the group will sing at Graceland, the Grand Ole Opry, and the Country Music Hall of Fame.  They will also visit and record in the famous RCA studio where Elvis recorded.

In addition, the children’s chorus will tour the Rock N Soul Museum, the Civil Rights Museum, the Blues City Café, Nashville Shores, and enjoy line dancing at the Wild Horse Saloon.

Children’s Chorus Executive Director Rosellyn McIver says this tour has all the components of a successful one, and the people of Memphis and Nashville will learn about “our community, our children, the quality of our arts, and our values”.
