KOLKHORST TO ADDRESS GROUNDWATER SUMMIT
Texas State Senator Lois W. Kolkhorst will address next week’s Burleson County Groundwater Summit.
The summit is set for Wednesday, August 14th at from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Caldwell Civic Center.
Kolkhorst will discuss issues from this past legislative session the district. She will also discuss current and future concerns including groundwater and property rights.
The Vista Ridge Panel will also discuss the projected impact production will have on the district’s aquifers.
The panel will also discuss how the district rules protecting aquifer water levels come into play.
The summit is open and free to the public. Lunch will be provided.
