TWO ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES IN FAYETTE COUNTY

Two people face drug charges after their arrests early Monday morning by Fayette County Sheriff’s deputies.
19-year old Rebecca Dawn Sell of Smithville was stopped as she walked along State Highway 71 near Kirtley.
Sell was found in possession of Xanax. She was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Later, Monday morning, deputies stopped a vehicle in Kirtley on an equipment violation.
An investigation revealed the driver, 24-year old Jimmy Martinez Jr. of Rosanky, was in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.
Martinez was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
