NAVASOTA MAN INDICTED FOR AGGRAVATED ROBBERY IN BRAZOS CO.
A Navasota man accused of attacking two people at an ATM in College Station earlier this year has been indicted.
19-year-old Kevin Alejandro Ramos was indicted Thursday on a first-degree felony charge of Aggravated Robbery, and a second-degree charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Police in College Station said Ramos stabbed a man who was using an ATM near Church Street and College Main Street the morning of January 20th. After the victim ran away for help, a man who had just used the ATM gave his money to Ramos to avoid being hurt.
According to police reports, the man who was stabbed suffered lacerations to his head that needed four staples at the hospital.
Ramos was identified using security camera footage, and arrested in Navasota on January 22nd. He was released from the Brazos County Jail a day later on $20,000 bond.
