BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO DISCUSS RECENTLY RECEIVED HURRICANE HARVEY FUNDS
The Brenham School Board will meet in workshop tomorrow (Tuesday) to discuss the over half a million dollars the district recently received in Hurricane Harvey reimbursement.
The board was informed at its meeting on October 21st that the district would receive $555,940 as a result of Senate Bill 500 in the 85th Legislative Session.
The bill appropriated monies to school districts that, due to Hurricane Harvey, experienced a drop in property values.
The board will meet tomorrow at noon in the Brenham ISD Administration Office.
