BRENHAM BUSINESSES CELEBRATING “SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY”
Today (Saturday) is “Small Business Saturday”, and plenty of businesses in Brenham and Washington County are celebrating with deals, discounts, and activities.
“Small Business Saturday” is a national campaign designed to promote shopping at locally-owned shops and stores for the holiday season.
Several businesses in downtown Brenham have specials, giveaways, and events planned to celebrate “Small Business Saturday”.
Home Sweet Farm is hosting its 5th Annual Chili Throwdown from noon to 3 p.m., featuring live music from The Kites, chili, beans, and Bloody Mary’s.
The Ballad of the Bird Dog will have ornament painting with Magen Bain of North to South Design. Cost is $25 for a set of two; snacks and drinks will be provided.
Anatomy Boutique will host its 10th anniversary celebration, with giveaways throughout the weekend.
The Book Nook will have 20 percent off socks, puzzles, and loose-leaf tea, and will give out $10 gift cards for every $50 spent.
Hermann Furniture and The Pomegranate will host Christmas open houses, while Organic Hemp Botanicals and Scrubs N Stuff will each have prize wheels to spin for special discounts.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for photos at Timeless Designs Market.
The 4-Star Concert Hall will feature the Rob Sturgis Band outdoors from 3 to 6 p.m., and Austin Meade at 9 p.m.
