GRANDMOTHER OF EMMANUEL SANDERS OPENING RESTAURANT IN BELLVILLE
The grandmother of a successful professional football player with roots in the area is opening a new restaurant in Bellville.
Josie Sanders, grandmother of San Francisco 49ers’ wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, is opening the Sanders Country Kitchen on New Year’s Day. The buffet-style restaurant will be open on New Year’s Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Buffet options on New Year’s Day include fried and baked chicken, baked ham, pot roast, black eyed peas, cornbread, southern style yams, and peach cobbler for dessert.
Sanders Country Kitchen is located in Bellville at 1216 Highway 159 East.
Hours are 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 9 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays through Fridays, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays, and 6 to 2 p.m. on Sundays. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Breakfast buffets are served from 6 to 11 a.m., lunch buffets from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner buffets from 4 to 9 p.m.
