AUTHORITIES INVESTIGATING FRIDAY NIGHT ACCIDENT ON HIGHWAY 36 SOUTH IN BRENHAM

  

At least two people received medical attention after a two-vehicle accident Friday night in Brenham on Highway 36 South.

The Brenham Fire Department was dispatched to 2607 Highway 36 South, near the Taco Bell and Walmart, for a report of a transportation incident with entrapment.  Units arrived on location and found the crash with no entrapment.

Firefighters helped EMS with the patients and cleaned the roadway up with dry absorbent.  The fire department cleared the scene once the vehicles were removed from the roadway.

According to dispatch, a pregnant woman was taken to Baylor Scott and White in Brenham as a precaution.  Eyewitnesses reported on social media they saw a child unresponsive at the scene of the accident.

There is no update on the condition of those involved in the accident.
