MISS TEXAS 2019 CHANDLER FOREMAN TO SPEAK AT BRENHAM ISD “CUB TALKS” SYMPOSIUM WEDNESDAY
The winner of Miss Texas 2019 and the co-founder of a teen girls’ empowerment organization will be the featured speaker Wednesday at Brenham ISD’s third annual Cub Talks Emerging Leaders Symposium.

Chandler Foreman will be among those talking to students Wednesday at the symposium, set from 9 a.m. to noon in the Brenham High School auditorium.
Over 450 8th through 12th grade students have been nominated by Brenham ISD staff to attend this year’s event, which will help students develop the confidence and leadership skills necessary for success in school and in life.
Foreman is a 23-year-old senior at the University of North Texas, pursuing a degree in Broadcast Media with a minor in Communications. She is the co-founder of teen girls’ empowerment organization Kween to Queen.
During Foreman’s 12-month speaking tour, she will make more than 250 appearances and speak before over 100,000 people about the Texas Cares for Children Program, the Children’s Miracle Network and her personal platform “The Leader Within”. Chandler recently competed at the Miss America Competition, where she was named as a Top 15 Finalist.
Other Cub Talks special guest speakers include:
- Kassie Jones, Bush School of Government and Public Service
- Dr. Kozhi Makai, Kozhi Makai Worldwide
- Mark Pennybacker, Washington County Census Complete Count Committee
- Danny Ramsey, Brenham ISD Assistant Athletic Director
Although the Cub Talks event is targeted towards developing youth leaders, all parents and community members are invited to attend the symposium.
