MOVING TRUCK OVERTURNS ON HIGHWAY 290 CLOVERLEAF HEADED WEST

  

No one was transported for injuries after a moving truck overturned this (Friday) afternoon on the Highway 290 cloverleaf turnaround.

First responders were called to the scene around 3:30 p.m.  According to Brenham Police Captain Lloyd Powell, the moving truck turned onto its driver’s side roughly halfway through the turnaround, heading toward Austin on Highway 290 West.

Cpt. Powell said it is unknown at this time what caused the truck to turn over.  The roadway was cleared just after 4:30 p.m.
