FIREWORKS ADDED TO LINEUP OF EVENTS AT NAVASOTA FREEDOM FESTIVAL

  

Guests to the first ever Navasota Freedom Festival in downtown Navasota on the Fourth of July will now be able to enjoy fireworks.

The City of Navasota has added a fireworks show to the activity lineup for the event.  Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m. at Brule Field.  Spectators are invited to stay in downtown Navasota following the conclusion of the festival, or begin arriving at the field at 8 p.m.

Along with the newly added fireworks display to round out the festival, the event will include the annual Fourth of July parade, live music, food and shopping vendors, and kid’s activities.

Guests are encouraged to follow the latest recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and protocols from Governor Greg Abbott.  Event organizers say they expect attendees to maintain social distancing during all aspects of the event.
