TWO ARRESTED ON LOCAL D.W.I. CHARGES
Two people face DWI charges after their arrests this past holiday weekend.
Friday morning, just before 4:00, police pulled over 26-year-old Martin Gonzalez of Brenham in 1300 block of Prairie Lea St.
Gonzalez was arrested on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated and taken to the Washington County Jail.
Sunday, just before 3:00 a.m., police were called to the 1800 block of US Highway 290 East, near the Brenham Saddle Shop, for a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road.
The driver 55-year-old Antonio Moreno of Brenham, admitted to consuming alcohol.
Moreno was charged with 2nd Offense-Driving While Intoxicated and taken to the Washington County Jail.
