BRENHAM, BURTON ISDs MOVING TO REMOTE LEARNING TUESDAY
In anticipation of inclement weather, Brenham ISD is moving all classes online for Tuesday.
Brenham ISD sent out notice to parents this (Friday) morning that all Tuesday classes will transition to remote learning for all students. The district has also cancelled all after-school activities on Monday and Tuesday, as well as the mass COVID-19 testing events.
Parents should contact their child’s campus if they are in need of Chromebooks and/or hotspots. Campuses are identifying students in need of devices for remote learning in grades 2-12. Students in prekindergarten through 1st grade will receive an additional message from their campus.
Devices and/or hotspots will be available on a first come, first served basis. The district asks that parents only request one hotspot per family to ensure that hotspots are available to all Brenham ISD students and staff that need them.
Update @ 3:05 p.m.: Burton ISD has also announced that classes on Tuesday will be remote only, after initially delaying the start of classes. Families in need of a hotspot should contact the district as soon as possible.
