A total of 4,000 first dose appointments are being booked for Tuesday, while 3,000 second doses will go out on Wednesday for those who received their first dose on February 9th.

Vaccinations will begin at 6 a.m. on Tuesday.  Residents with second dose appointments on Wednesday should arrive at the Expo at the same time they received their first dose.

Citizens are asked to bring a form of ID, a completed consent form, and a vaccination card if they received one at their first visit.  Consent forms are available at www.localevent.info, and can also be picked up at the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.

Residents in the 1A and 1B vaccination tiers can sign up for their first vaccine dose at the subHUB by visiting https://wacounty.saferestart.net.

Earlier this week, the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) expanded vaccine eligibility to include people who work in school and child care operations.  The directive is for those who work in pre-primary, primary and secondary schools, Head Start and Early Head Start programs, and licensed child care providers, including center-based and family care providers.

Anyone who needs assistance in rescheduling an appointment can contact Faith Mission by emailing disasterservices@faithmission.us, or by calling or texting 979-421-4131.  Those reaching out are asked to provide their name, contact information and reason for the message.  Their message will be processed as soon as possible based on the message volume.
