BURTON ALUMNI BASEBALL GAME, STREET DANCE SATURDAY
Burton will play host to a full day of festivities this Saturday.
In addition to the 32nd Annual Cotton Gin Festival, which begins at 10 a.m. with the Main Street Parade and Children’s Bicycle Parade, visitors and former Burton Panther baseball players can look forward to an alumni game at the Burton High School baseball field.
The game starts at 2 p.m., and will be preceded by recognition of the Burton Panther baseball teams that advanced to the state tournament.
After the game, a street dance will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. across from the White Horse Tavern at 400 North Main Street, featuring music from the Texas Unlimited Band. Admission is free, and food and drinks will be available for purchase.
The alumni game and street dance are being organized by the Burton Chamber of Commerce and Burton Friends and Neighbors.
