Main Street Brenham and the Visit Brenham/Washington County Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) have launched an online gift shop with a collection of Brenham and Washington County memorabilia.
The gift shop offers 18 items including coffee mugs with either Brenham, Chappell Hill or Main Street logos; stickers; postcards; ornaments; magnets; posters; and personalized infant onesies.
Several books are available, including “I Came from Hog Branch,” the life story and recollections of local poet and artist Lloyd Mays; “The Burning of Brenham,” a historical detailing of a time of conflict in the city; and “Answering the Bell,” the story of the Brenham Fire Department.
In addition, the gift shop has a series of three wooden replicas of familiar, historic buildings in Brenham including the courthouse, the fire museum and The Barnhill Center at Historic Simon Theatre.
Memorial bricks for either Belle’s Alley or Alamo Alley designations are also available, as well as Recollections volumes 1 and 2, a series of digital recordings that include the remembrances of many local citizens.
