‘MISS BELLE’ NAMED PET OF THE DAY

  

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Miss Belle” as its Pet of the Day.

Belle is a spayed pit bull terrier mix, about 1-2 years old.  Brenham Animal Services staff say Belle came to the shelter extremely thin with no explanation for her low weight, until a scouring pad and various other items were extracted from her stomach.  Staff say after recuperating and living with other dogs in a foster home, she is ready for her own home.

Belle is house-trained and active, and would do well with other dogs.  Staff say slow introductions to new people and experiences help her transition.  They say she is bubbly, fun-loving, sweet, and loves a good car ride.
