WASHINGTON CO. APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD TO ADOPT 2021-22 BUDGET
The Washington County Appraisal District Board of Directors will meet tomorrow (Tuesday) to formally adopt the budget for the 2021-22 Fiscal Year.
Following a public hearing, the board will consider adoption of a budget of $979,180. The budget is an increase of $67,686 from the current fiscal year budget of $911,494.
Most of the proposed increase in the budget is due to payroll costs, which are expected to rise from the current payroll of $613,013 to $680,600. That comes from a proposed increase in work days and 4 percent pay raise for all staff.
Also on the agenda are several reports and a review of the board calendar.
The board will meet tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. at the Washington County Appraisal District Office at 1301 Niebuhr Street.
