FAITH MISSION COMMUNITY CLINIC CARE TEAM MOVING TO BSW-BRENHAM CLINIC IN JANUARY

Baylor Scott and White has announced a staffing adjustment for its care team at the Faith Mission Community Clinic in Brenham.

Beginning January 1, 2022, staff members working at the community clinic at 100 South Chappell Hill Street will relocate to Baylor Scott and White – the Brenham Clinic at 600 North Park Street.

In a release, Baylor Scott and White said it will welcome all patients of the community clinic at the new location, with medical records “easily transferable to provide a seamless transition of care.”

Baylor Scott and White says patients at the new location will continue to receive prevention services, wellness checks, non-emergency treatments, diabetes counseling and supplies, and hypertension management from current care team members.

Baylor Scott and White also says increased services will be offered, including additional operating hours, medical specialists, financial assistance counselors, and free high-speed internet to access documents like electronic medical records and test results.

Additional information about the transition will be provided directly to patients in the weeks ahead.

The community clinic opened in 2011, and was originally an association between Washington County, Faith Mission and then-Trinity Medical Center.  Baylor Scott and White has since taken over the hospital role.

  1. What a stellar example of finding something that works, and is a huge benefit to the community it serves, then changing it. Not a word about WHY they’re doing it, just that they are. One can only assume that BS&W knows that Faith Mission is alone in getting the credit for its excellent service, and the Powers That Be want the credit for themselves. Thank you, Faith Mission for your countless contributions to the underserved and unserved in our county. I know that will not change.
