PICKIN’ N’ GRINNIN’ MUSIC FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND NEAR BELLVILLE
Three days of Texas bluegrass music get underway tomorrow (Thursday) in Austin County at the Pickin’ N’ Grinnin’ Music Festival.
Nine bluegrass groups are set to perform at the festival, which will be held at the Coushatte RV ranch south of Bellville at 4029 Clay Ranch Lane.
Featured musicians are The Malpass Brothers and Brian Black, with other performances including the Gent Mountain Grassburs, Little Roy and Lizzy, Nick Chandler & Delivered, and The Family Sowell.
Opening ceremonies for the festival are set for 4:30 p.m. tomorrow. The festival will also have vendors and door prizes.
Individual tickets are $15 for tomorrow, $25 for Friday, $35 for Saturday and $70 for the whole weekend. Children 15 and under with their parents are free.
