NO MAJOR INJURIES AFTER CAR CRASHES INTO BRENHAM INSURANCE BUILDING
No serious injuries are reported after a car drove into a building housing a Brenham insurance agency this (Tuesday) afternoon.
First responders were called out just before 1:30 p.m. to a report of a crash with entrapment at Mark Hyatt – State Farm Insurance at 210 East Tom Green Street.
According to Brenham Fire Captain Greg Nienstedt, a car was coming in to park at the building when it hit the accelerator instead of the brake. The car drove into the building, hitting a desk in the back of the building and pushing it to the wall.
The woman sitting at the desk was transported to the hospital for observation. The driver, an elderly woman, was said to be okay.
