TWO SAN ANTONIO MEN ARRESTED FOR METH IN FAYETTE COUNTY

Two San Antonio residents were arrested in Fayette County early Sunday morning after an alert Sheriff’s Deputy found them with methamphetamines.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Dustin Kieschnick stopped a silver Ford passenger car for a traffic infraction around 1:30am on I-10 near mile marker 664.
Kieschnick said that he observed several indicators that the occupants could be involved in criminal activity.
After receiving consent to search the vehicle, Deputy Kieschnick discovered a kilogram of methamphetamines.
The driver and the occupant were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
They were taken to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
Their names have not yet been released.
