TEXAS ARTS & MUSIC FESTIVAL SET FOR OCT. 15-16

The Texas Arts and Music Festival has announced the mural artist and musical entertainment for its seventh annual event this fall in downtown Brenham.
The free festival will be held on October 15th and 16th, featuring live music, an art village, pop-up art galleries and live mural paintings.
Doug Hiser of Santa Fe, Texas will add another mural to downtown’s growing collection. Hiser is a member of Artists for Conservation, representing the world’s leading nature and wildlife artists, and travels the globe in search of the wild beasts that he paints.

The Brodie Lane Band, a Texas country band from Austin, will perform as the musical headliner for the Saturday of the festival. Other entertainment will include Payton Howie and Brenham local Caleb Hoelscher.

The Texas Arts and Music Festival is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing an event for art and music lovers to enjoy and raising money for local art programs. The festival has provided support to art programs in Brenham, Burton and Sealy.
