EIGHT PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Eight people pled guilty and were sentenced by Judge Reva Towslee Corbett in District Court this week.

Colby Alan Barham, 26 of Brenham, had his probation adjudicated and was sentenced to 15 years in prison for Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine.

Orenthia J. Moore, 45 of Brenham, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for Aggravated Assault of a Family Member with a Weapon.

Germaine Crawford, 39 of Brenham, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance.  He was also convicted of a 2nd count of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Money Laundering and was given time served on those cases.

Michael William Davis, Jr., 39 of Houston, was sentenced to 4 years in prison and 2 years in state jail for 2 counts of Burglary of Building, 2 counts of Burglary of Vehicles with 2 or More Previous Convictions, and Criminal Mischief.  He was also ordered to pay a total of $10,221 in restitution.

Toshua Renee Cuellar, 31 of Brenham, was sentenced to 3 years’ probation for Driving While Intoxicated with Child under 15 Years of Age.  She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and $60 in restitution.

Roberto Alegria, 43 of Brookshire, was sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Driving While Intoxicated 3 or More Offences.  He was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine, $60 in restitution, spend 10 days in the Washington County Jail as condition of probation, and perform 100 hours community service.

Francisco Javier Lopez, 32 of Brenham, was sentenced to 4 years’ probation for Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath or Circulation with a previous Conviction. He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, perform 120 hours of community service, have no contact with victim, and surrender his passport.

Alejandro Ramirez Denes, 26 of Houston, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.
