NEW YEAR’S DAY CONCERT AT FESTIVAL HILL
The Round Top Festival Institute is set to host a special New Year’s Day program.
Dr. Linda Patterson will perform on the Henry Erben pipe organ in the Edythe Bates Old Chapel on Sunday at 4 p.m. She will be accompanied by various guest artists to perform duets.
Dr. Patterson is currently the director of music at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in downtown Bryan. She previously served as the music director at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Brenham, where she led youth and adult choirs and administered a recital series. She has chaired the Episcopal Diocese of Texas Music Commission since 2003.
Tickets for the New Year’s Day program are $30 for adults and $10 for students. Advance reservations are required, as no tickets will be sold at the door.
