NONPROFIT REGISTRATION OPEN FOR 5TH ANNUAL BRAZOS VALLEY GIVES

  

Registration has begun for area nonprofit organizations to participate in the 5^th Annual Brazos Valley Gives.

The fundraiser, put on by the Community Foundation of the Brazos Valley, assists nonprofits from throughout the seven-county Brazos Valley region.  The event is a month-long community giving effort that culminates in 18 hours of online giving on the third Tuesday of October, which this year is October 17^th. 

Last year, donors raised $1,176,760 and contributed 9,760 volunteer hours in support of 161 nonprofit organizations.  This year’s goal is $1,250,000 and 165 participating nonprofits.

The deadline for nonprofits to register is Friday, September 8^th.  Those that sign up by noon on Friday, August 25^th will be eligible for an early bird registration prize.
