BRENHAM NATIVE HOLDS BACKPACK FUNDRAISER FOR HOMELESS

  

 Brenham native Brady Hill had a great idea for a fundraising event that would help the homeless by providing backpacks for the homeless containing items for health and personal hygiene products.

Brady held the event at the Victoria Boys and Girls Club on March 25^th, with all the items being donated through various fundraising events hosted through the Club. He hopes to make this an annual event.

Brady is a 2012 graduate of Brenham High School. His parents are Russell and Nancy Hill of Brenham. He is currently a Junior at the University of Houston in Victoria.

Thirty backpacks were filled and will be donated to the Victoria Homeless Coalition.
