A recent graduate of Burton High School and a member of the Burton FFA continues to collect accolades as he prepares for his collegiate career.
Zane Aschenbeck has been named a Texas FFA State Scholarship recipient. He interviewed for the scholarship earlier this month at Tarleton State University.
Aschenbeck will receive a $20,000 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Scholarship at the Texas FFA Convention in Houston on July 11th.
Aschenbeck is also receiving a national award of $10,000 via the Darling Ingredients Building the Future Scholarship.
Aschenbeck graduated as valedictorian of Burton High School’s Class of 2024. He will be pursuing an engineering degree at Texas A&M University.
