CUBETTES DEFEAT IOLA 3-2 IN NON-DISTRICT MATCH

The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team had a bye scheduled for Friday night, because of playing in a seven-team district. However, they elected to stay busy by facing the defending 2A State Champions the Iola Lady Bulldogs, and the Cubettes came out victorious 3-2.

Iola won the first set 25-15. Brenham came back to win the next two sets 25-16 and 25-14. Iola won the fourth set 25-20. Brenham then won the final set 15-11 to take the match.

Next up, Brenham returns to District play on Tuesday night at Montgomery at 6pm.
