BRENHAM ISD EDUCATORS AMONG FINALISTS FOR BRAZOS VALLEY EDUCATOR AWARDS
Seventeen Brenham ISD educators have been named finalists for the 2025 Brazos Valley Educator Awards.
Brenham ISD is represented in nine of the 12 award categories, with multiple finalists in several divisions. The awards program, organized by the Brazos Valley Educators’ Society, recognizes the best teachers, staff members and administrators across the region.
Finalists from Brenham ISD include:
- Clay Gillentine – Superintendent
- Melissa Boenker and Will Corn – Campus Administration
- Kristi Pharaon – Elementary School Teacher
- Jennifer Ebel, Kimberly Kenjura and Dylan Klovenski – Middle School Teacher
- Heather Kaldis and Cindy Markos – High School Teacher
- Cheryl Bennett-Preston and Tiffany Reagan – Rookie Teacher
- Misti Davis and Roseann Mueller – Professional Staff (Counselor, Coach, Specialist, Librarian, Other)
- Jessica Ross, Keianna Smith, Ladarius Schefflette – Paraprofessional / Instructional Assistant
- Madison Ruiz – Collegiate-Level Staff / Professor
Brenham School Board President Natalie Lange says the district is “incredibly proud of all Brenham ISD staff members who were nominated for these awards” and that it is “fortunate to have such an exceptional team shaping the future of our students.”
The Brazos Valley Educators’ Society says voting ends this Friday. Voting can be done at www.bvedsociety.com.
Winners will be honored at an awards ceremony on June 6th at the Brazos County Expo.
