BRENHAM PD MAKES ARRESTS FOR VIOLATING PROTECTIVE ORDER, PAROLE WARRANT, MARIJUANA POSSESSION
Brenham police made three arrests between Wednesday and early this (Thursday) morning.
Nearing 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Sergeant Jimmy Ha responded to the 1900 block of FM 389 in reference to an information call. Police say an individual, identified as 20-year-old Miguel Zavala of Brenham, had violated an emergency protection order. He was taken into custody for Violation of a Bond/Protective Order.
Around 3:15 p.m., Sgt. Ha and Officer James Catchings responded to the 1300 block of Prairie Lea Street in reference to a warrant service. Upon arrival, the suspect, 27-year-old Darius Toliver of Brenham, was located and placed into custody for a Parole Violation warrant issued by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Parole Division.
Just before 1:30 a.m. today, Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Highway 290 West. Police say that 20-year-old Gary Brown III of Baytown was in possession of marijuana. Brown was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked for Possession of Marijuana Less Than 2oz.
