BRENHAM FIRE DEPT. RESPONDS SUNDAY TO CRASH WITH ENTRAPMENT
The Brenham Fire Department responded to one call on Sunday and another early this (Monday) morning.
Just before 6:15 p.m. Sunday, firefighters were dispatched to a crash with entrapment at Highway 36 North and Fritz Road. They made location to find a two-vehicle accident with one patient still inside a vehicle. Units helped EMS with patient transport and provided traffic control until the roadway was cleared, at which time they returned to service. The extent of the patient’s injuries is unknown.
Around 1:15 a.m. today, BFD members were called out to a report of a fire alarm at the Mill Creek Residence Hall, 1192 Old Mill Creek Road. They helped personnel reset the alarm and cleared the call.
