TWO CALLS FOR BRENHAM FD MONDAY INCLUDE CHILD LOCKED IN VEHICLE, FALSE ALARM
The Brenham Fire Department responded to two calls on Monday.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m., firefighters were dispatched for a report of a child locked inside a vehicle at a home in the 400 block of West Lubbock Street. They arrived on location to find a child in his seat with the vehicle not running. Units used lockout equipment to gain access to the vehicle. EMS checked the child out, and the fire department returned to service.
Close to 10:45 p.m., BFD members received a report of a fire alarm at a home in the 3900 block of FM 2935. Nothing was showing from the exterior of the home. Firefighters spoke with the homeowner, who advised it was a false alarm.
