BURTON HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCES TOP 2025 GRADUATES

  

Burton High School has named the leading graduates of the Class of 2025.

Valedictorian honors are going to Vivian Leigh Layman, who accrued a grade point average of 4.2542.

Vivian is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Layman.  She will be attending Blinn College in the fall, majoring in mechanical engineering.

The salutatorian is Reagan Alice Roemer, with a GPA of 4.1236. 

Reagan is the daughter of Mr. Kurt Roemer and Ms. April Roemer.  She will attend Texas A&M, with a major in kinesiology. 

Forty students are graduating this year, 15 of them with honors.  Along with Layman and Roemer, honor students include:

• Zoe Jaeger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Jaeger
• Isabelle Means, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Quentin Means
• Taiden Thiel, daughter of Mr. Todd Thiel and Ms. Amanda Thiel
• Greyson Mathis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Mathis
• Avianna Triplett, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Malloy
• Kara Kaye, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan and Kayla Rouse and Mr. Christopher Kaye
• Mark Odom III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Odom II
• Drayton Oakes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cassius Oakes
• Trent Unger, son of Mr. Brad Unger and Ms. Rachael Unger

Burton High School’s graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, May 23^rd at 8 p.m. at Panther Stadium.
