Graduates received their diplomas Friday night in front of their loved ones at Panther Stadium, the first graduation ceremony held at the new field.
The class valedictorian and salutatorian, Vivian Layman and Reagan Roemer, wished their friends and colleagues well as they move ahead. Layman reflected on her experiences with the mentors and leaders she has learned from at Burton ISD and the influence they have had on her, this class, and numerous other graduates.

Of the 40 members of the Class of 2025, 15 are graduating with honors.
