BLINN BOARD TO VOTE ON 2025-26 BUDGET
The Blinn Board of Trustees will look to set the budget for the next academic year during its next meeting on Tuesday.
Trustees will vote on adopting the budget and stipends for the 2025-26 Fiscal Year. The board opted at its meeting in April to hold tuition and fee rates at the same level as last year.
The current budget for the 2024-25 Fiscal year was set at $129.3 million upon its adoption last summer, an increase of 2 percent from the previous year’s budget.
Also at Tuesday’s meeting, trustees will hear the institutional enrollment report for the 2025 spring semester, May minimester and first summer session. In addition, they will receive the spring graduation report, financial and administrative updates, and a preliminary summary of the 89th Texas Legislature.
After an executive session, the board will potentially authorize the administration to negotiate and execute agreements related to the lease and occupancy of real property in Harris County.
The board will meet Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Brenham Campus Administration Building. The meeting will be livestreamed on Blinn College’s YouTube channel.
