Through its Neighbors Helping Neighbors accounts, Faith Mission was able to give $15,510.84 to boots-on-the-ground organizations providing disaster services for those who have been impacted by the floods.

Of that total, $12,510.84 was given to the Salvation Army and $3,000 was donated to Hosanna Lutheran Church in Kerrville.

Hosanna Lutheran Church Flood Relief Coordinator Hope Timmer says 100 percent of the donations will go directly to the flood victims, with volunteers administering the funds.  Pastor Timothy Radkey says the church is there to walk alongside the people as long as it is needed.

Faith Mission Executive Director Reverend Randy Wells says the donation accounts at local banks are being closed as insurance and other aid becomes available to flood victims.
