LADY PANTHER BASKETBALL REMAINS UNBEATEN WITH A WIN OVER HEMPSTEAD
The Burton Lady Panther Basketball Team remained unbeaten on the season as they defeated Hempstead on Saturday 60-41.
Burton took the early advantage by outscoring the Ladykats 13-9 in the first quarter, and 15-11 in the second quarter. That gave the Lady Panthers a 28-20 lead at halftime.
Then, Burton blew the game open in the third quarter 19-9, and also won the fourth quarter 13-12.
Leilah Ellis led the Lady Panthers with 25 points, 9 rebounds, and two steals.
Aerynn Huntsman finished with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 7 steals.
