STATE OF THE COMMUNITY FORUM TO BE HELD SEPT. 29
Leaders in Washington County will gather to give updates on local happenings at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming State of the Community Luncheon.
The event will take place on Tuesday, September 29th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Blinn College Student Center Banquet Room.
Confirmed guests for the luncheon are Brenham Mayor Atwood Kenjura, Burton Mayor Karen Buck, Brenham ISD Superintendent Clay Gillentine, Burton ISD Superintendent Vikki Curry and Dr. Eric Alford of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Brenham. Washington County is also expected to have a guest speaker, with Chamber officials saying they are waiting for confirmation.
Speakers will provide news and information on important projects and drivers of the local economy.
Tickets are $35 for Chamber members, $50 for non-members. Reserved tables for eight guests are $350. Seats must be reserved by Wednesday, September 23rd at 5 p.m.
