BRENHAM BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS TO DISCUSS DIGITAL BILLBOARDS IN CITY LIMITS

  

The Brenham Board of Adjustments will have a discussion regarding digital billboards within the city limits as well as extra territorial jurisdiction. Currently, billboards defined as “spectacular” – an outdoor advertising display with flashing or moving parts – are not currently allowed inside the city limits.

The board will hear a presentation and possibly take action on reducing the minimum parking space dimensions and reducing the aisle dimension requirement for off-street parking for an existing parking lot. This lot is located at 2505 Stone Hollow Drive in Brenham.

Three variance requests will be heard in regards to a required minimum average lot depth of 115 feet, a required 25 foot rear yard setback, and a required 25 foot front yard setback, all for a single family residential lot. This lot is located at 1506 South Jackson Street – which is proposed to be divided into two single family residential lots.

The Brenham Board of Adjustments will meet at 5:15pm next Monday in the second floor council chambers at City Hall.
