MAN ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, WARRANTS

  

Gerald Patrick Walton, 25, of Killeen was arrested in the 3000 block of State Highway 36 N in Brenham this morning (Monday) for possession of a controlled substance.

An officer pulled Walton over for a routine traffic stop. It was during this time that the officer discovered Walton had three active warrants out of Bell County for his arrest. The warrants were for burglary of habitation, bond forfeiture, and criminal mischief.

During an examination of his belongings, a substance that appeared to be cocaine was found.
