SNOOK ISD LOOKING FOR SCHOOL HEALTH ADVISORY COUNCIL MEMBERS
The Snook Independent School District is inviting individuals who want to serve on the district’s School Health Advisory Council to come to their meeting today (Tuesday).
The School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) meets at least four times a year and assists the district in ensuring local community values are reflected in health education programs. The council addresses the continued implementation of health programs including: health education, physical education, health services, nutrition services, counseling, healthy school environment, staff health promotion and family/community involvement.
Anyone interested in serving on the School Health Advisory Council can come to the first meeting today from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Snook Elementary Library.
