INDEPENDENCE “CAR SHOW IN THE COUNTRY” THIS SATURDAY

  

Community members will be able to admire cars and motorcycles of all kind this Saturday at the “Car Show in the Country” in Independence.

This is the first year the car show will take place, and it aims to benefit a good cause. Event organizer, Catey Paben, says the money raised from the show will go to the Independence Community Events organization:

All cars and motorcycles are welcome to take part in the show. Gates open at 9 a.m. and awards will be given out at 11 a.m. Paben says those wishing to enter a car in the competition should arrive early to the event:

The “Car Show in the Country” will take place at 9325 FM 390 West in Independence from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information or to register a car, call 979-836-4211.
