HOUSTON WOMAN FACES CHARGES IN BRENHAM
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Houston woman faces charges after her arrest Friday night.
41-year old Lakeshia Renee White is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Resisting Search, following a traffic stop Saturday night.
Just before 10:30, Cpl. Steven Eilert responded to a reckless driver call and located the vehicle in the 1300 block of US 290 East.
According to Eilert, he could smell the strong odor of alcohol in the vehicle.
Eilert reports that White was unable to perform a field sobriety test and was taken to the Washington County Jail, where she actively resisted blood being drawn.
