CHAPPELL HILL CRAWFISH BOIL HAPPENING SATURDAY
The 2nd Annual Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce Crawfish Boil will take place Saturday from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m.
The event benefits the Washington County EMS Chappell Hill Station, as well as numerous projects for the community and the chamber’s efforts to promote the businesses of Chappell Hill.
“We are looking forward to another successful event this year and appreciate not only the community, but the entire county’s support,” stated Carol Salah, owner and manager of 291 Ice House & Brown Eyed Girl and Crawfish Boil Event Co-Chair.
“Last year was the first year this event was held and what a huge success it was. All monies raised last year helped us with expenses related to the Washington County EMS Chappell Hill Station and this year we want to expand those fundraising efforts, not only to the EMS Chappell Hill Station but also to the betterment of the Chappell Hill community and help promote our businesses,” stated Terri Brecht Harris with Premium Roofing Systems and event Co-Chair.
“This EMS station has provided quicker medical response has been a blessing to the community since it opened its doors. The station provides assistance to residents of the community and we are appreciative of their work and also want to identify ways we can promote our businesses and community throughout the year,” stated Harris.
“The day will be filled with great food, a silent auction, raffle items and all kinds of opportunity to explore the Chappell Hill area and visit our businesses. Tickets are $15.00 before Saturday and $20.00 at the door which includes all the fixings. There will also bar-b-que by Chappell Hill Bakery & Deli for those non-crawfish eaters.
