MASSIVE BRENHAM BBQ PIT TO FEED HURRICANE VICTIMS/WORKERS

A Brenham barbeque rig is part of an effort to feed thousands of Hurricane Harvey evacuees and first responders in Houston.

Kimberly King and Terry Folsom are using their 75-foot long Peterbilt barbeque pit to help feed people at the NRG Center in downtown Houston.

Numerous businesses are sponsoring the event to serve as many as 50,000 meals.

King and Folsom will be joining full-time chefs from Florida and Chicago in grilling on the massive vehicle for the charity event.

The 80,000 pound trailer features 24 doors and can cook 8,000 pounds of meat at one time.

Refrigerated trailers will deliver the meat supplied by several Florida companies.
