AUSTIN CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATING FAILED BURGLARY OF INDUSTRY STATE BANK ATM

  

The Austin County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the suspects involved in an unsuccessful ATM burglary in Industry.

Saturday morning, at 7:15 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office received a call from Industry State Bank, reporting that two male subjects, wearing dark hoodies and masks and driving a silver and tan single-cab Ford F-250, tried to open the ATM with a large chain connected to their truck.

The suspects, according to the Sheriff’s Office, were able to pry the machine open, but were unable to get any of the money inside.  After about three minutes trying to get the money from the machine, the suspects left the scene.

The incident, being charged as Burglary of a Building, is still under investigation.  Anyone with information can call the Sheriff’s Office at 979-865-3111.
