BLINN BOARD TO CONSIDER REFUNDS FOR STUDENTS

The Blinn Board of Trustees will consider issuing certain refunds to students for the Spring semester at its meeting tomorrow (Thursday).

The board will look to authorize Blinn administration to issue refunds to students related to housing, food service, and parking.  The item was added onto the agenda this (Wednesday) morning as an emergency item, following emergency declarations regarding COVID-19 by Governor Greg Abbott and President Donald Trump.

Also on tomorrow’s agenda, the board will consider approval of tuition and fees for the Fiscal Year 2020-21.  In addition, the board will consider allowing the College to negotiate and execute contracts for access control upgrades at the Blinn College Park apartments on the Brenham Campus, a roof replacement on Building T on the Bryan Campus, and maintenance for parking lots on the Bryan Campus.  It will also consider seeking proposals for custodial services on the Brenham, Bryan, and RELLIS Campuses.

The board will meet tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. in the Brenham Campus Administration Building.  Public access to the meeting will be in Rooms 2 and 3 of the Brenham Campus Student Center.
